it's LADIES' NIGHT todae!
not referring to clubs etc.
but Ladies' Night at PASTA DE WARAKU!

(wanna mention dat i forgot to bring my cam out
n all credit goes to Jinli.
been really tough on her
coz she had to take n send me so many pics!)
YA ER' met up n we cant wait to begin our feast!

all of us had a Pasta each,
our JiaoZhu Jasleen had TOMATO CREAM SEAFOOD!
Vice Chair had the most "exciting" pasta,
SQUID INK!
our Secretary had CHICKEN N MUSHROOM SOUP PASTA!
i(treasurer) had TOMATO SEAFOOD!
Lifelong Member Jinli had PRAWN N MUSHROOM!
 Pris, Miao n Jinli shared a SPICY COD ROE SCALLOP GRATIN,
 while Jas n i shared a FRUITS PARFAIT!
we ordered 3 side dishes as well.

JUICY SAUSAGE!
 FRIED POTATO!
 n SALMON CHEESE!
 it was a FEAST indeed.
all becoz of the exclusive 50% discount.
geex.

we chatted n exchanged gifts
n it seemed like it was Pris's Birthday.
haha.

aft spending 2.5 hours inside PDW,
we finally decided to take leave
n CAMWHORE in the washroom!

it's nt easy for all members to be present
n i treasure every single outings wif them.
they never fail to cheer me up
n blow all my worries away!

wad an exciting day todae!
i woke up early in the morning at 7am+
juz to haf DELIFRANCE BREAKFAST BUFFET
wif my family!
we were served coffee/tea.
n the buffet includes refillable orange juice too.
too lazy for words
so let's just let pictures speak the thousand words!





the hotdogs were my fav
coz they were so so so springy!

we did shopping aft our breakfast
n it was my very first time shopping
at such an early hour!

we shopped till noon (cant believe it)
n finally i was back on my comfy bed again.

but no.
i didnt sleep.
i took a rest n showered
to get ready to meet Jinli for her interview!

she went for both interviews
at Waraku n Pasta De Waraku.
n chose Pasta De Waraku eventually.
hope they'd contact her asap.

afterwhich Jinli n i went town
in search of our early dinner.
i was so hungry coz i had an early breakfast
n no lunch at all!

we decided to settle our dinner at
Sakae's The Pasta Shop!
we took this "Rudolph Set for 2",
which consists of...

Hot Ocha,
 Mushroom Soup,
 i had Chicken Kaarage Curry,
 Jinli had Carbonara,
 Potato Wedges as our side dish,
Jinli had Choco ice cream for desserts,
while i had Strawberry ice cream!
overall the food wasnt dat bad
but the soup was too saltish.

my curry rice was still acceptable but
Jinli's carbonara wasnt realli good coz
the pasta wasnt soft n chewy enough.

wadever it is,
we still had a hearty meal
coz we were wif each other.

went to shop aft our dinner
n it didnt take long before we were worn out.

we passed by Starbucks n saw 2 luring sofa seats
waving frantically to us.
Alas!
Jinli had a chance to use her Starbucks voucher.
thanks dar for the treat!
we snapped countless pictures
coz Jinli's hand was just so shaky!

nonetheless,

i tot i wouldnt be out todae
but i decided to pay Jurong Point a visit
coz it was extended.

before Jinli n i went down to JP,
we dropped by Waraku Fine Dining
as she wanted to go for her interview.

it was such a pity their Manager wasnt ard
n it was her THIRD try alr.

in order not to make it a wasted trip,
we stopped by Gloria Jeans
where Jinli had her $3 offer Choco drink.

afterwhich we headed to JP
n had an early dinner!

at NEWYORK NEWYORK!
Jinli had a sinful (stated on menu)
BRATS WRAPPED IN BACON N CHEESE!

tried it n yup it tasted yummy!

i had HAWAII TERIYAKI CHICKEN CHOP!
 i love the Teriyaki sauce
n the wedges were fried to crispy rich golden!

Jinli laughed alot todae
n she's such a happy girl u see!
we chatted quite alot
n i was such a CHATTERBOX todae i realised.
juz couldnt keep my mouth shut
for even few secs.

i guess Jinli n i have endless topics to talk abt!
HAHA.

HOHOHO!
MERRY XMAS everyone!!!

Christmas is my favourite festive season
n i always spend my Christmas eve n Christmas
wif my family n dearies.

spent my Christmas eve wif family ytd
n so time for my dearies todae!

met up wif Jinli at 3pm
n we went to Civic Centre beside CWP.

chatted over Starbucks
n was reminiscing the good old days in HangZhou.

afterwhich we met up wif Miao n Jas
for ICHIBAN!

we all had SET MEALS!
i had TORI MASU CHEESE meal.

it comprises of a Miso Soup,
(too salty for human consumption)
Chawanmushi,
(the egg custard tasted pretty good)

Soft Shell Crab,
(too oily n soggy)
Tori Masu Cheese,
(sauce was too salty n hardened cheese)
Japanese rice,
(the best amongst the rest)
and lastly Oranges.
(low quality oranges)
Overall Ichiban has to improve on their set meals.
their supply of SALT is simply too much.

well aniwae,
the highlight was GIFTS EXCHANGE!

Jas forgot to bring hers
n Pris wasnt present,
so we exchanged amongst the 3 of us!

Jinli's gift for me came in a Kitty carrier!
it is a Kitty Drawer with stationeries in it!
i love it!
she had a card wif it too!
Miao's gift came in a set of prezzie,
card n sweeties!
she gave all of us a black frame
wif pictures of the 5 of us nicely n neatly done!
i really like our picture frame
coz it's meaningful n it's our 1st combined picture!

i gave them a wooden message board
wif my handicrafts on it!

each one is designed according to their style
n i really hope they liked it!

had 4 of them combined as a pic
coz im simply too lazy to upload them individually.

we walked ard CWP to aid digestion
n we headed to Starbucks (again)!

this time i had Mocha Frap!
we simply chatted over our coffee
n time juz ticked away without us realising.

i wanna thank 3 sweeties for spending Christmas wif me,
n they are Jinli, Miao n Jas!

thanks a dozen for making 2008's Christmas such a wonderful one!
